What if he wasnt the low-life that stole it? Maybe he bought it at a yard sale, or traded something for it. Just something to think about.  :stirpot:

good point -

in this case this guy - low life - has always been trouble and was known for stealing, as in every city neighborhood with the few that did exist. He wasn't the type of guy you walked up to in asking about a wrongful deed, nor was his drunken father.
Its almost like you with the other good citizens are just waiting for an excuse to pledge the 'vendetta'  A few days later, my neighbor and his group of friends said congrats and shook my hand. They asked why I didn't get physical and kinda down looked me because I had the chance to do so.

They only see ***STARS***
when hit by a MOPAR !!!

I had honestly thought about getting something like lowjack or something else.  I recently got layed off from my job and got distracted by a whole host of other things.  In retrospect, I think a tracking device of some sort is a good idea.

Try Boomerang.   It's a tracking service that uses it's own insurance too!  100% recovery rate.  It's about the best I've found.Havn't gotten it yet though.      Their motto is...  "Whatever leaves...always comes back"   Check it out.  It's for helicopters and off shore racing boats n' stuff....

I have heard of GPS chips you could put under your dogs skin so you can find them . Wonder why the same chip would not work for a car ?

Really, I want to be able to read how you got your car back. People that steal are worse than the stuff that sticks to the bottom of your boots while walking through a yard full of dog doo.

My folks live in the Raleigh south metro (FV) area. Although retired, my dad's still a hot rodder at heart. I'll put the word out!

Howdy folks,

appreciate all of your help!  I have had an idea for awhile about who might be involved in my car theft and I just recently by pure accident found were he works.  At an autoparts store no less.  I'm not 100% sure about this and I don't want this kid knowing that I suspect him.  I'll keep you guys posted.

Joe.
