...I would let her bring the dog back again, let the dog know who I was and inject the basturd with something very painful and watch him squirm till he is dead....no need for anyone to have a dog like that if they can't control it....hope you get better soon kid

Sounds like you'll heal up although it make take more than a few band-aids and some Triple-Antibiotic-Ointment. Has she at least made contact to see how you are doing??

April,
Very sorry to hear this.

Did you go see a doctor? If not you need to, the sooner the better. Bites can lead to serious infections, take no chances.

Hi April,
I am sorry to hear of the dog attack. I agree with Barry and hope you get the bites looked at by a doctor and give the lady cop the bill. Take a few days off and give her the bill for that too. At the least she should pay for your medical bills and for you to be home a day or two to heal!!  Im had my neighbor's dog (boxer/pitbull mix) bite the crap out of me right in front of my house. :swear: I know how it hurts!! Seems the "padding" may have prevented further injury to you!! :roflsmiley: Hope you're feeling better soon!! :2thumbs:

What a bummer April...    :walkaway:   I know you love those dogs, but please pick and choose only the docile ones that want you to care for them.  I hope you heal quickly.  I am with the others in believing you should at least get her to pay all costs incurred by you to get healed up.  I am surprised Screwy didn't put a round of hot lead in that dog....   lol    Let us know how it goes and take care of yourself

On Friday she came today to pick Rudy up and on her way to the car, I was behind her, ready to go back inside just about to open the door to my reception area. She stopped me to ask a question about booking another stay for him, so I stopped, closed the door and asked her when she was coming back. Next thing I know the dog jumped up and put his paws on my shoulders and was wagging his tail. Before I could even move or think about petting him he started to attack me. He ripped off my scrub top and the shirt I was wearing under the scrub top.  I put my arm up to protect my face as he was biting me and his strength knocked me to the ground. The dog got off of me after a minute of her yelling NO RUDY!!!! So there I am with less than half of a shirt covering me, and pretty badly bitten in what I will refer to as "a lady body part" since most of you here are guys, lol. I have a few punctures, not too deep, but a ton of dark bruising and what looks like broken blood vessels and some swelling. He also got me on the arm that I used to protect my face.  I am so pissed that this woman thought it was OK to have her dog that is known to be vicious jup up on me.  What on Earth was she thinking?  Now that a few days have passed, it looks and hurts so much worse than it did on Friday.  Every little move I make hurts like hell, especially when I am driving.

Was a police report done? And has she made any effort to contact you to talk about it afterwards?

April, I hope you're feeling better after this incident.  That is bull***t she didn't attempt to physically remove HER dog from you once he jumped up.  She really shouldn't be allowed to own a dog that has such a vicious temper and it only makes it worse that she's an officer (as she should already know this).

I hope that you have a speedy recovery both physically and mentally.  I would be giving your client all the bills related to this incident and she's lucky that her dog isn't being put down for attacking you.

Hope this puppy makes you smile.

I can't believe that the owner didn't help you out when her dog was attacking you. She does not deserve to have a pet. :villagers: Have you seen the docs yet and given her the bill? Good luck with your recovery and be safe.
