Firm Feel Steering box question
« on: May 18, 2008 - 07:43:25 PM »
I'm looking to order a Firm Feel manual steering box for my 70 Challenger. I read people talking about Stage 2 or Stage 3--Is that the 20:1 or 16:1 ratio that is the only difference or is there something else ???

I thought firm feel was power steering? I had a 70 'Cuda with manual steering and it always felt plenty firm lol.

Stages have to do with firmness (feedback feel).
The ratios you listed are for the manual box.
To get a fast ratio POWER steering you have to get the longer pitman and idler arm.
They have some goood info on their website.
