Just caught the tail end of the price is right show.   There was a young blonde who before bidding on this prize package stated, " I really need a car". She won a brand new black VIPER!!!   I really hope this is not her FIRST car. The old showcase showdown has changed a bit since my younger days.

You better get it in a hurry if you want to borrow the car. My first impression was that she might not know exactly what she is getting into. No offense to any of the fine Mopar ladies who are familiar with horsepower, but these cars will spank you if you dont respect them.

I was flipping through the channels the other day, and saw the tail end of an old "Lets make A Deal" show. Big curtain was his and hers full size cars. Total of the deal was around $6400!

The real truth is many of the prizes go un picked up because they can't afford the taxes and registration.

I watched about 6 weeks ago when a black woman won a red Viper in one of their 8pm Primetime "Million Dollar" specials.  I was impressed - she actually seemed to know what a Viper was, and what it was worth.  I can't remember what game she played, but I don't think she even missed one number.

Kinda sucks for those of us who work our butts off to make a living and STILL can't afford one, ya know?!?!  Then again, I'm sure once they realize what a Viper will do to their income taxes, they probably don't keep it.

I worked with a woman that won a luxury car once. She said it was the worst thing that happened to her. Screwed up their income, caused them to lose the financial aid their daughter was getting for college, etc.
