Wheel opening moldings or not?
« on: May 21, 2008 - 09:11:43 PM »
Finishing up my '72 Cuda and can't decide if I want the wheel moldings or not. It is wearing a white Hockey Stick stripe and only lower rocker panel moldings (not fins). Not sure if I need the extra glitter on the wheel wells but it does look a bit plain?

My vote is for not.  I think the bottom chrome trim sets it off just fine.

Nice car, by the way.  It looks Bada$$! :2thumbs:

Why is my 'Cuda in the front yard? Re: Wheel opening moldings or not?

My house is for sale, and we are getting very little response, so I decided to offer the car along with the house as a package deal.......for a hefty price increase that is. Yes, I have had plenty of gawkers, but they are looking at the car only, not the house!

I vote YES  for you putting the moldings ON.  They have a certain flair and curve that accent the wheel wells.   And it does match the lower rocker chrome as HemiOrange70 said.

YES. :2thumbs: They finish off the car and in my opinion looks bare without it, like your forgot something.
They are small and petite, not in your face. A nice touch for a nice car. :2cents:

I was never a fan of the rocker moldings, but they look good on your car.
