Give more history on it, (was it working OK then it started doing this or is it a fresh rebuild first time ran etc.)

it surepose to be fresk rebuild ,got some problems with this transmission  :banghead:!
the old  stock valve body did work .nothing where happen when I put in drive or other gears !  so I buy a new cheeather manual valvbody
now  it is  working but not in second
the shift Is Ok from low to drive ,and also from drive to neutral or revers
only when place the shifter in low and  and shift to second nothing is happen then shift it to  drive then is shift to drive  ???

Are you trying this out on jack stands?(tires off the ground) If so,you have to watch the Cheetah VB's because you will not feel a 1-2 shift in the air but it will be fine on the ground while driving the car.
