Glad to have you along for the ride! :)
I gave wifie a 73 Road Runner that morphed into a 68 Charger R/T!  She loves it, so it's all good. ;)

Canada is the second largest country after the Soviet Union/whatever they call it now, in the world!!  ;)

All kinds of weather happens, but here in Alberta at least the southern part (Just above Montana U.S.) is pretty dry.  :D

A lot of cars survive quite well compared to other provinces, especially the east and west coasts and Ontario where a major amount of salt is used during the winter. Yes they use salt here too, but more sand than salt. Thus all the cracked windshields we get! Arghh!  >:(

Most auto wreckers in Alberta have cars going back to the 70's still!!  8)

Hey, WedgeHead~

Captain Mopar fixes that kind of stuff up really well.  We use a  lot of sand up here in Alaska on the roads, too.  NO SALT ALLOWED! And I LIKE it like that!  ;D

As a matter of fact, they've got this new stuff they use on the streets downtown now.  All that leftover sand after breakup causes accidents.  (I know, my 73 Road Runner was involved in one once ... sliding on gravel instead of hookin' the corner got my driver's side wiped out when someone pulled out in front of me one day.)  Anyhow, it's distributed via water trucks and sprayed all over the street.  Seems to work, too.

I should try and get a pic of one working.  I haven't heard of this being used anywhere else, but being in Alaska, that's not surprising.   ;)

In fact, I have noticed that Alaska seems to be a hot spot for testing state-of-the-art technology in many areas, like architecture, telecom, etc.
