I remember when that car was at Restorations by Julius in about 1993 or something. Car went to Ed Briggs. That might be Ed Briggs selling the car now??? He moved to Colorado. Maybe moved to Utah after that.

Highly optioned car but the missing air conditioner makes all that luxury a moot point as far as I am concerned. Might as well optioned it with a 4 speed if they were not going to check off the air con box. Yup, thats how much air conditioning means to me lol.

Good question. The sunroof makes it a complete outlier from typical 440-4bbl car with a popular paint color.

I like to figure values working backward from done cars.

I'd say less than a 6pack Challenger auto. And more than a 4spd 440-4bbl Challenger.

What's a 6pack Challenger auto that is done nice stock, typical local show winner, competitive regional and national?? I'm thinking $60K -75K

I don't think lack of A/C hurts it. This car is almost a shell. It will be very expensive to restore. Even with the new repro parts coming out. Projects missing these many parts nickel and dime you to death doing a resto.

Sorry, You are mistaken. This car has sit in a field in Utah since the mid 80's. I know the prior owner as well as the current owner. It has not left the valley for at least 20 years.

Sorry. I thought it was too much of a coincidence. There must be must be two 70 Challenger FC7 440-4 Auto sunroof cars. And both is the mountain time zone at one time.

That's is cool anyways. Should be at least another one out there.

No.  Just a good friend and they guy that posted it on ebay for the current owner. We also have allot of other cars on there.

Ed Briggs..... the 70 cuda that I currently have was once owned by him for a short time.  What a small mopar world.

I remember that from a Moparts.com thread from years ago.

He flipped a lot of cars and parts. Mostly E-body. Heard about him in So Cal before I heard he moved to Colorado. Developed a reputation and faded away. Probably sells/hides on ebay now.

Whats the story? You are owed a car by someone? Sounds crappy if someone took your money and did not deliver a car

 Short story....  I paid him a 2/3 deposit for a complete shell, dash, doors, title and arranged to drive out to get it (23 hours one way) the night before I was to leave, he calls me and gets all weird wanting more money and not knowing whether it was all original, then calls the deal off. it took him 3 months and NUMEROUS e-mails/phone calls to send me 1/4 of my deposit and 2 1/2 more years, ~50+ phone calls, 50 or so e-mails ('till he blocked my address and started sending me viruses as a reply) plus the FBI & local police to get another 1/2 of it. His story changed more than the Michigan weather, and that's A LOT !!!!  I wonder if there ever was a car 'owned' by him or if all the pics he sent me were of someone elses car.  BTW, if I ever run into him, I will get the remainder of my money whether in cash or "trade" for some physical enlightenment.

 If any one wants or requires the long version, PM me so as not to start a rant session on the board. I figure a few people might know and even possibly like him so I don't want to start anything.
