Hello Hi Tech, Are you any where near Jackson Hole? I understand it gets really cold there. The vapor lock thing is quite possible. As for the module, I dont think this car has one. It could be the pick up assembly in the distributor, but the function of the module is done in the engine computer. It is possible the computer is getting too hot. Try running the switch key scan test & check your repair manuel for the codes. Just turn the switch key on- off-on-off-on-off- on & leave on. Then count the blinks of the check engine light. I know this works w/ later Chrysler cars (up thru '98) & it may work w/ yours. Ovmf
