I'm replacing my power steering gear box on my 70 'cuda with a 73-74 rebuilt one. Do I need to change anything else then the pitman arm? Do I need to replace the idler arm? I have the 73-74 steering box (rebuilt) and a pitman arm from moog. The pitman arm look a little different then the old one. It's curved to one side. The one on the 'cuda is strait (at least it look that way when looking at it for under beneath the car).

Only change should be the pitman arm.  The 73 up boxes have a larger diameter shaft.  I did this exact swap on my 70 Challenger.

I agree, I just did this.  I had to get an alignment to straighten the wheel though.
