gas gauge working perfect replaced sending unit, now no speedo new cable

ok got fuel gauge working ,was bad sending unit, works perfect now. also replaced speedo cable but still no speedo what do i do next??

pull the speedo cable and spin it by hand while someone watches the speedo. if it doesnt move, odds are the speedo needs rebuilt. if it does, check the speedo gear on the end of the cable and try to look at the gear in the tranny. that is where i would start.
