E-body photos from Switzerland
« on: May 27, 2008 - 10:08:07 AM »
Hi guys,

here are some impressions from my recent tour to a classic US-car meeting in Switzerland.

There were quite a few nice e-bodies and other Mopars... enjoy!

No wonder there are no E bodies in North America, between you and the New Zelanders, there are no nice ones left ..... :roflsmiley: Nice pics

I'm going to install hoodpins in the next few days and then take some real good photos.

Just to pick your brain for a bit... Did you strip the paint from your headlight bezels and grill surround? That chrome-like look is awesome with black cars.  :2thumbs: Is the grill tough to keep looking that way? I only ask because ideas are forming in my head.  :eek7:

I had done that to my R/T's grill also about 25 years ago, also a triple black one.  I think I just used lacquer thinner to take the black paint off. Since it is anodized, there is nothing special you need to do to keep it looking good.
