New Guy from Washington Pa
« on: May 28, 2008 - 01:25:08 AM »
Hello Shawn here I am restoring a 1966 barracuda formula S right now. The car was my father's and he passed the car down to me. When I was younger we would take the barracuda up to Carisle every year. The early barracuda was more like you either loved them or hate them. I don't see too many of the early barracuda anymore. My barracuda has the 273, A/T, and all original. The car has been sitting for 20 years now. So it's my turn to give her some TLC. I am planning to restore her back to the original factory condition.

Welcome to the site, Shawn.  You're right, not too many of those 1stgen Barracudas around - I think we have one on here and it belongs to 72challorange's wife.  Looks like you have a good solid start there.  Hang around - lots of help and great people around here.

Welcome to the site! Looks like a very solid 67 Fish. I noticed that there is an Air Force Command sticker on the windshield. Just curious, what command is it?

Once again, welcome to the site and enjoy the restoration!

Welcome to the site, Shawn!  It looks like you will be starting your restoration with a clean, rust-free car.  Those early Barracudas always remind me of "Hemi Under Glass". :2thumbs:

 Welcome to the forum, Shawn.  Great '66 you have there.  Below are 2 pictures of a '66 that I took last summer at a local cruise event.  You've got a Fish that is rarely seen anymore, good luck on your restore.
