6pac set-up
« on: May 28, 2008 - 02:01:14 PM »
I've got a 6pac set up( intake, carbs, and air cleaner), I bought new from mopar.  Has about 100 miles, was rejetted, and choke was taken off.   I could never get it running right, so I put my 800cfm back on.  I'll post pics later today.

Any offers?

Just read the new rules...I'm located in Austin TX, I don't know what 6pacs are selling for, I think I paid in the neighborhood of $2500.  I'd like to get something over $1500.

If you want a six pack have you considered trying the Barry Grant Six-Shooter, or a cool six pack fuel injection setup?

Not to sound like a prick, but what you are doing here is VERY uncool. You want $1500 and then you are fishing for offers by e-mailing "well this other guy is offering me $1750" to see if I will shell out more. Not cool at all in my book  :nono:. If you are fishing for a high bid, might as well have put it on ebay and placed a link on this forum  :eek7:

It doesn't say 1500 firm in his post. It says offers over 1500.  But I can agree about private bidding wars. I'd keep it in the open on the post and see who offered what for it.

Sorry if I offended :wow:...didn't know the going price.  Had several inquiries, just thought I'd be fair and let the interested parties know what what I was being offered.  I certainly didn't commit to anyone then come back w/ a higher price.  Iwasn't trying to take advantage.

I did leave a message for the guy I was told to call, no response.

I'll handle it differently next time.
