new pics maine newbe
« on: May 28, 2008 - 07:27:28 PM »
finally took some new pics, shes not beautiful but she will be.  Also, there seems to be some severe tire wear  which is disproportionate from the front.  Is this a mopar specific condition?  My fords never showed such extreme wear.

Mopars will always have more rear tire wear than Fords.   :roflsmiley:

also can anyone point me in the right direction of vendors?  I will be looking for quarters, fenders , trunk lid and interior to start with.  And I live in the highest taxed state in the union so money is an issue, Thanks again everyone for all the positive feedback.

Didn't you just buy this car?  If so, you really can't know anything about the tire wear.  Given the way those tires are worn evenly all the way across, it looks to me like the previous owner just threw on a worn-out pair of rear tires on the rims to get it out of his garage.

Best place to start for vendors is in the vendors section.  A couple of the vendors there will pass along a discount to C-C.com members and are good to work with.  I've had good experiences with Az-Nick and several members here have had good dealings with Dave from Roseville Moparts.  And occasionally a member here will have an item you need.

Nice project BTW!

As stated above a fraud won't wear out rear tyres like a MOPAR's rears will. Make sure that you get the right front suspension parts so that the front tyres won't wear as badly as frauds do on the front.   :roflsmiley:

I thought IL was the highest taxed state in the union! I agree with Greg I have had good dealings with Dave from Roseville motors and I used Legendary for my interior.Good luck!
