Some TN vacation pics....a few Mopars as well
« on: May 28, 2008 - 11:29:14 PM »
The first day we flew into Nashville and drove to Pigeon Forge.  We ate dinner at the Old Mill.     Food was GREAT!!  Even got to try some corn fritters!!!!   Tasted like a cross between a donut and funnel cake!

Inside was like a wood cabin.  It was very nice and the pricing was relative to the atmosphere!  :money:

Day 2 we got up and went to Dollywood...walked, walked and walked some more.  I didn't take the camera because of the water rides and roller coasters!  The wooden coaster was a BLAST!!  It would come up over a hill and lift you out of the seat.  Then just about the time you were coming back down into the seat, the coaster would make a sharp banked corner and would plant you down into the seat and the side of the car!  It was a cool set-up!!  :2thumbs:
After Dollywood we cleaned up and went to the AppleWood Farmhouse Grill.      The steak was large enough for about 3 people, and that was after salad, apple fritters , and apple sauce.   I know I gained at least 4 lbs in that sitting.  :walkaway:

After eating enough for 3 meals, we could not do anything but sit.  So we went to the Magic Beyond Belief show.   :2thumbs:

Day 3....skipped breakfast just so I could finally start to feel normal after the AppleWood steak...  :smilielol:   Anyway we drove up to the Knoxville Zoo.  From the looks of the animals, the people were the ones on display!  :smilielol:

Thought I was looking in a mirror here!  :grinyes:  We stood at this diplay for about 30 minutes.  There were several of them going ape :poopoke:..!!!  They were not happy about something.  They were running up and down the enclosure screaming, yelling and banging on the metal doors.   It was really pretty cool to see it in person.  This guy was just sitting up there looking at the others going nuts.   He would just look around and literally :clueless: and look around like,  "what the heck is going on here"?? :smilielol:
