thanks for the welcome.

since you asked ..................

i am a mechanic by trade.  i run a shop out here in the oakland, ca. area that caters to pre-smog classics.  my girlfriend is a carchick as well and has a studebaker wagon and we both drive dart wagons daily.

the car,....well it's a 68 barracuda fastback.  stock red white interior.  i am running a 360/727 combo.  eddy heads, holley 750, 274xe cam, rpm airgap.  8 3/4 has 3.55's  magnum force subframe connectors, hellwig f/r swaybars, cordoba disc brakes, bbp all around with cop wheels.

Hey redfastback ,

Just thought i would resize your avatar picture for you so it is a little easier for us to view your cool car without adjusting too much, that is if you want to save it to re-use of course.

Sweet looking ride - you're doing alright with that car.  How about that 1stgen white car on the other side of yours in the first photo - customer car or is that the girlfriend's?

There are quite a few members up in the Bay Area.  One of them will pipe up here and ask if you're going to the Mopar Alley show at Ohlone College this weekend.  I think they have a meet set up.
