Hey, thanks everybody!  Glad to be here.  I'm really looking forward to making this place part of my daily vice.  It will be fun to connect with guys who are into the E body style as I have been all these years.

Kenny!  Yo!  My brother from another mother down under!  Good to hear from you again.  I might have expected you'd be here.  I don't know if you caught it, but last year on Sept. 17 I ruptured my left achilles tendon.  I was in a cast for three months and rehab for another two before I felt like a human again.  I am just about up to full speed again, but I am cautioned by the doctor that it won't be fully healed for another three months.  I'm still looking for a good paying video gig (I'm a video director/editor) and am freelancing right now.  Haven't done anything on the car since I put SS springs on her last summer.  I plan on pre-fitting all my brake components (Mopar action 11.75 cop disks and aluminum master cylinder), anti sway bar, AC stuff and maybe getting some of my sheet metal done.  Then it comes apart.  So that's about it.  Did you ever find a solution for the B5 Gran Coupe headliner material?  For those who haven't fallen asleep on this post, Kenny and I have been in pursuit of very rare material.  Here's a picture:  So far I have found it in black and white through Barnabas Kriss, but not blue.  I am wondering if the white could be properly dyed.  It's eye popping.
Cool come back with that "Yo!  My brother from another mother down under!" ...............

I did see you were laid up just before i jumped ship buddy.
I have been doing some asking around and their may be a form of marine trim we could match up for the Gran Coupe roof lining.  I just have to visualize it to confirm, been waiting on samples, now you have reminded me i will have to see what ever happened to the samles they were sending.................. :2thumbs:

Glad you are here. :clapping:

 Welcome to the forum, Quickfish!  Your Cuda looks very solid and  pretty straight at least from the rear photo.  Tires look new too, with stock rims and covers.  Glad you found us!

Ken, I was curious if you had found anything.  I really want that fuzzy style fabric that came original, but at this point, would rather be closer on color than texture.

By the way, I found a SUPER nice reproduction driver's chrome, remote, sport mirror for the 70 E body for $100.  Don't know if the guy is still out there but he had a gob of em.  They were devoid of branding or serial numbers.  Let me know if you want info!

hooD, I've had this little car in storage for as long as I've owned it!  The older it gets, the better it looks! :)  Seeing some of the stuff guys are restoring today, I feel like it's not going to be too bad.  Those tires have very low miles but are 13+ years old.  Kind of a waste...

Thanks for the welcome guys!
