Looks great :2thumbs:  You are so close to my house, we may just have to do some heads up racing in the future...

1/8th mile racing around here.  Has gone 5.79 @ 119 with a 1.17 60'.  That 60' time requires an 8000 rpm launch and feels great.

June 14 is very close to when I go back out to work. I would like to think I can make it. If I get just 1 extra day, I will. I know what you mean about those 1.17 60's my cuda runs high 4's  But I am hoping just to drive up there in my barracuda and come see you. My race car is down for mods untill spring.  I hope to go over to R&R speed your way to pick up my dana next week. You work at a shop around there anywhere? I'm in Holly Pond out by Cullman.  Great looking car you got there.  Old school has a super fine fastback with a hemi in it here on our site. Street car running close to mid 9's quarter mile.  We have some nice cars on this board.  Glad you signed up.

I can't touch 4's - that takes cubic $$$.  Your race car is down 'til spring of next year?  I've delt with Harold and Ronald at R&R since the 70's.

Your car mostly steel?  Mines all fibergas and tube chassis (BICKEL) 2250 me in it. 1028 hp. It really isn't a big engine just very light and a 51/49 ratio.   Just a tad over 1000 hp. 790 tq.  :2thumbs: Rules changed for certification and had to change a couple of bars, Make new o rings for my sheet metal intake, Gear change,  add 8 egt's (expensive) update sfi stuff, typical stuff.

Harold had told me at R&R that they had a 4.70 club up there at Huntsville. I am hoping to join in next year :2thumbs:  Baileyton scares me with the huge bumps in the track

Mines mostly steel but it is a tube frame - 2650 with me and about 51/49 also.  Mine's a low deck 451 with Indy SR's and an 833 4-speed.  Bailyton scares me also.  Have you been to Bama in Jasper? Was there about 10 years ago and it was really hookin' up?  98% of the time I go to Huntsville.

I like your combo. I look forward to meeting you.  I guess my edge is 400 lbs lighter bigger cubes and bigger heads maybe. I wouldn't dream of taking any glory from your car or post. Most don't understand the cost to run our times.  Love your towing vehicle too. I had a 63 sport fury vert 426 max wedge. I had built it a few years ago. I sold it to some doctor in Lexington.  Hope to see you run :2thumbs:
