Stroke should be 90% of bore? That's a new one on me. Stroke determines rpm of power peaks. There is no perfect one. Otherwise My neon and a Pro stock would share it. It's not even the stroke, but the combination of rod, stroke, and block, that makes thigs wear out faster. I wont use a piston shorter than Brandon's 505/512 package with the 7.1 rod, and I dont like oil support rings on a street engine. But like Mike says, it's all opinion.

 :iagree:
more than 512 CI is overkill for a street engine , traction will be a bigger problem IMO

 :woohoo:

FINALLY, I saved the $$$$ for my rotating asembly, an Eagle 499 stroker kit.  I thought this would come much, much quicker, but with the dying ecomony lately, it was pushed back a bit.

I've got to drop the money off to the motor man and hopefully he'll call me once it's shipped to him so I can take some pictures.  Once this part is over, I'll be probing for ideas as to what to get next.   :2thumbs:
