8 3/4 rear end

What is the best setup to go with when it comes to a sure grip? My rear end right now is open and I would like to change it out to a sure grip but not sure what to go with.
Also what is the difference in a clutch setup and one without clutch setup. My car is an automatic so I am again unsure what this is about?
My rearend case is the standard case that would have come with a 318 engine. I have since upgraded with a 383 and now I want some traction when I hit the road
Any help would be appreciated!!

well first you need to figure out if you have an 8 3/4 rear you may have an 8 1/4 , check that first, they might have posi units for those too!

the rebuildable clutch type is the best , the Torson . true track is second best but needs to use green axle brgs , the cone type is a throw away , it cannot be rebuilt once it is worn out
