I know some of you guys run the Edelbrock carbs on your 440s, and would like to know what model you run and what size jets and metering rods are working for you.

Please don’t reply that Edelbrocks are junk and you should just stick a Holley double pumper on there.  I personally agree that the Edelbrocks are not the best choice for high performance use, but I want to keep the stock type air cleaner and don’t do much more than cruise with the car anyway.

So far I,ve run them out of the box. Both the 800 on my warmed up 383 and the 625(carter) on my 360 AMC V8 in my jeep wrangler(YJ) Most I've heard are close out of the box. Ya a good running holley is better but it's been 18yrs since I,ve seen a GOOD one in person.
