    Just got a A833

    Well I found an a833 on craigslist in Denver a couple days ago. I had my Dad go look at it since I live in California. My Dad said the transmission looked good and picked it up for me for $300. He also said on the way out the guy had a 4 speed console sitting on the floor that was in really good shape. The guy then sold the console to my Dad for $100.  I'm really excited about the console and now I need to start looking for the rest of the parts to do this conversion. If anyone has some things they think I may need please let me know. I have a list of parts from Brewers right now and if I don't find good prices on them I'll just buy through Brewers. Woohoo!!

    Good Luck with your conversion, just did mine a month ago and its nice to shift them gears like I was 17 again.

    I was going to put the 4spd console in, but it kind of looks nice without it and definitely less rattles and squeaks.

    You will need a new carpet without....

    I have a big block 383. The tranny is from a small block.

    I have a bell housing and a flywheel for a big block. if you need one.  :cheers:

    Actually check the price on shipping to Denver CO 80221. I think that will be cheaper  and my dad has the tranny right now anyway.
