Hi, setting the throttle pressure linkage. choke fully open, hold the trans lever FORWARD against its stops towards front of engine, tighten the swivel.The position of the lever on tranny thats my question? thxs

With the carb wide open,you want the trans lever all the way back.(wide open as well)

Thanks tactransman. I thought that was correct towards rear. Unless i mistook their meaning. In the torqueflite A-727 handbook by carl h. munroe,it says hold the tranny lever FORWARD against its stop and tighten the swivel lock bolt. Im sure the book is accurate wonder if that was a typo error or my mistake. thanks for your post tactransman i know your bang on . cudachallenger.com rocks
