Hello
« on: June 07, 2008 - 12:10:47 PM »
Hi, My name is Jason.  I have a 71 Challenger Convertible with a 340.  I have owned the car for about a year.  The car came from the factory as a Gunmetal Grey car with black stripes but it was painted red by the previous owner.  I plan to put this car back to original within the next couple years,  but right now I am just enjoying driving it.  It is still running the #'s motor, and original 3.55 sure-grip but the 727 was replaced somewhere along the line.

The 70 vert in the pic is my friend Bob, we took this pic at Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis last year.

Thanks,
Jason

Welcome to the site Jason and what a great looking 71 Challenger. My 71 Challenger RT came from the factory painted lite Gunmetal and it really is a great looking color. What part of Mo. are you from? I'm just across the river from Saint Louis in IL. and have been going to Monster Mopar weekend since the late 80's.

Hi Jeff, right now I am living in the Cedar Hill area.  We have met a few times before at Ryan and Mikes "Moparty", you were driving the Cuda.  I would like to see your Challenger some day.  I had my car parked in the Pit area last year at Monster Mopar and that was the first time that car had been to Monster Mopar since the previous owner took it to the first one in 83 I think.  Later,
Jason
