Hello from Dubai
« on: June 10, 2008 - 04:51:01 PM »
I've been lurk'n for a couple of months and it's about time to introduce myself.

I bought a 72 Challenger  :working: a couple of months ago  :ylsuper: It was a coincedense, I was out looking for a first gen Camaro and came across this mean green 72; it was love at first sight.  The seller was asking about $30,000  :eek2:  I thought it was way high for it's condition.  I left with a broken heart.

Six days passed, I couldn't stop thinking  :droolingbounce: Meanwhile, I bought my son Burnout Paradise (PS3 Game) and started to play the game with him.  Low and Behold, there was a car that looked awfully simillar.  It was called something else but it sure was mean and green  :wow: .  I got hooked and played for hours.

Needless to say, next day I was with the seller handing him the cash.  I can't believe what I did, I just made up my mind and bought the car because of this game.  Stupid?! Maybe. But it sure was the best thing I ever did.

  Glad you found us and your '72 Challenger.  Great story, but we need some pictures of that mean green '72.  You'll have more fun with your new Mopar than any Camaro could offer.

Welcome to the site!  It sounds like you found a very clean example of a '72 Challenger as they usually don't bring that much unless they're an original 340/4-speed numbers-matching car.  I'd be interested in seeing some photos as well.
