Door Hinge Rebuild

OK, I finally got the sound deadner installed on my doors and most of the weatherstipping put on. I also rebuilt the window mechanisms and put up a plastic water shield. Now I need to tackle the door hinges since I can see and hear the lower one pop and move (wish I would have done it BEFORE the paint  :stomp: but needs done neverless). So I ran a search and was referred to the LA Mopar page. But is is now parked and MIA.  :'( Does anyone have the pictures and description saved? I figure it can't be that hard, but I would rather look at ones that have already been done before I go pulling mine off and screw them up. Thanks

do the doors drop or sag when opened? if not you do not need to rebuild the hinges just need to soak the rollers. If they do. I have pin kits in stock for this reason. pins kits come with the bushings also. here is a link.

Thanks. Actually I already got a quote from you over at Roseville for the parts. I was just wondering how hard it was to do and if anyone had any tips or pics. Thanks

it is not hard at all. takes about 10 to 15 mintues per hinge to drill out and re-pin

Thanks. Guess it will be like most of my undertakings with my baby - try it  :misbehaving: and see and hope for the best. Hopefully I will have my list together this week so I can get my order put in.

when you got to that point of doing the hinges. mount them to the body so you have them bolted to a firm point for drilling for the bushings. You will have to grind off a little material on the lower hinge door side part to accept the space difference of the top of the bushing. Don't need to remove a lot/ just enough.
