Which heads are on my motor?

Need some help to find out which heads are on my motor.  Is there a way to tell which heads I have on my motor while it sits in the car?  I bought the car with the motor in it the owner could only provide the cam specs (280/474) as told by the previous owner.  Just trying to gain enough knowledge to map out where I go next.  Thanks to all who have helped me so far.  I get a little smarter everyday reading old posts.     You guys and gals are the greatest!!!!

I'm not positive, but I am pretty sure you have to at least pull the valve cover to look for the casting number.

  MrMopar440 is spot on.  The casting numbers are on one of the intake runners when you pull a tappet cover and look under the rocker gear, you will see the casting numbers.  Post them up here and we can help even more

Yeah, pop a valve cover and you will see the numbers. If they end in 906, we are blood brothers.
