Leftover Parts For Sale
« on: June 13, 2008 - 12:42:03 PM »
I have the following parts for sale.  They were removed from my '73 Challenger during restoration.  All can be described as good driver condition:

  • the air cleaner and SB valve covers in this photo:

  • *SOLD* '72-74 steering wheel
  • complete black auto console with top plate, shifter bezel, lid (new from Tony's 2007), ashtray and button
  • P.G. auto shifter bezel (new)
  • set of 4 headlight rings (excellent condition, no screws)
  • *SOLD* set of 4 window cranks with washers
  • pair interior door handles
  • pair exterior door handles
  • *SOLD*pair interior door locks
  • pair heavy rear bumper guards
  • pair white sun visors
  • horn button
  • *SOLD* dash speaker grille (has slight warp)
  • T-handle shifter handle
  • pair front lap and shoulder belts (black)
  • mirror remote knob bezel
  • *SOLD* pair front pillar moldings for vinyl top
  • fender antenna delete plug (fits into antenna hole; looks like a retracted antenna)
  • Challenger grille emblem with pins
  • pair 340 Four Barrel hood emblems
  • pair custom T/A-style stripes with R/T logo where T/A should be
  • FPAP rear decklid spoiler cutout templates (unused)
  • Nutsert tool (used once)

I'm not looking to gouge anyone, I just want to get rid of this stuff, so make me a reasonable offer if you need something and it's yours.

Any cracks/holes in the console?  Does the lid grain match the rest?  I may be interested.

The "rope" trim is cracked in a couple of spots, but nowhere else. Lid is very close to the rest.  I believe I still have the have the original lid, if you want it.

Yep, I'm going to pass, Scott.  Sorry, I forgot about this thread.  But the console wont be correct for your '70...   :grinno:

The 340 emblems are fine, I ditched them because they came on the car, which has a 360.

The console is driver quality. The "rope" molding has a few cracks in it, but the console itself does not.

The console door fits just fine.  Perfect, in fact.  And the new door blends with the console well.  Here's the best pic I have at my fingertips:

I could be wrong, but I believe it's an OEM thing.  $25 will take it.  It's never been used.
