another overdrive question

there is a car in the local trader that says the car has a ''three speed with an overdrive converter]. i can't get ahold of the guy to quiz him what this means. can anyone shed some light for me?

Gear vendors OD is the only thing that makes sense to me

yea, sounds liek gearvendors or possibly a US gear V2OD-like a gearvendors unit only no gear splitter feature, just the overdrive gear.
