Any Aluminum Radiator you guys recomend?
« on: June 17, 2008 - 01:55:52 PM »
I'm looking for an aluminum radiator to replace my stock 26" 4 core radiator. As it does not flow well anymore. And I'm thinking of getting  electric fan(s) as well. As the old mecanical clutch fan just doesn't do the job if I get stuck in trafic. Almost over heated to many times. Do you guys have any aluminum radiator to recomed? Bolt in kit with electric fan would be the best, right?

My car is a 70 'cuda 383 A/C car (A/C removed) with A/T

Quate: "It Will Cool your car up to.....750hp....."Guaranteed."

Yea for how long.... lol  ..... Just seems to good for the price.... If they cool 750HP for $220 the would have there own business like be cool and put be cool out of business.......  :2cents: think about it............ 750HP on the radiator alone.......

simple.... I would run hot all day with a 400hp application.... standing still in the traffic is the worst of all.... no wind cooling.....  :working:

thats stuff is written up so shady....

We have a littly tiny baby radiator thats cools down the 900HP aluminum Indy block.... only makes 1/4 miles passes though  :eek7:

I hated overheating problems, they plagued me like I was cursed!!

The one thing I learned was moving the air is very important.
There are different "grades" of rads to buy, but my cheapy universal rad is made into a cooling stud by putting serious fan power behind it.

I could cool well enough on the streets and great on the freeway, but stopped at a light and give me the Thanksgiving Day turkey for frying.  :hyper:

The nice thing about the one you seem to be pondering is it seems like it's welded at all the seems. My "cheapy" is epoxied and I read they will not last forever.
