The only G5anything is a G54 LH O/Srace mirr Fbd.  What does Fbd stand for?

Rev, i believe your missing code will most likely be one of the G3? codes for your mirrors. Do you know what the originals were? Either chrome or painted would narrow it down some.

Yep, got the originals at the chrome shop being rechromed now.  They definately were not painted.  Just looked at the list...must be G37...Duel outside chrom race mirrors?

I had to dig back a ways to find where i listed my codes. The 70 RTSE i own has remote driver and non remote passenger chrome mirrors but the fender tag shows G31 G33. I still lean towards a G3? code but that's just my .02. Btw i'm guessing that Fbd stands for F body  ::).

Yip, DEFINITELY G3#. The 5's bottom comes up to quickly, the three has more contact to the imaginarie(?) line if you will.
I'll stay with my G35.  ;D

Rev, does what you have left of your broadcast sheet show the G-codes? If so, and 5 is under the box for mirrors, mystery solved and score one for Team NZ  ;D.
Didn't i see this episode once on Herge's Adventures of Tin-Tin where there's pieces to a treasure map and..? Sorry, guess i'm dating myself with that reference  ;)

Nope, the squirrels ate that part...(I just say squirrels, because the thought of rats in my car just gives me wicked willies!!).  But....we're figuring this out now...when we took the car apart, the passenger door's inside paint was a different color then the rest of the cars hidden DY3 paint.  That led us to believe somewhere along the line, a different door was added...sooo maybe it is G35 and we just happened to have a door from a car that had a passenger mirror already on it??

Sounds like a question for the previous (original?) owner. Also sounds more and more like it is indeed G35.

You should go into business, LB. Maybe you could charge $5 a minute for your advice over the phone like a certain other mopar "enthusiast" who verifies cars does... ::)

I still see the last number as a 4, I wish I had a paint program and I could draw a line through it to show what I'm seeing.

Rev,

Had another thought, do you have pictures of those mirrors you pulled off, as 1970 was a one year only deal for e-body mirrors.
I have noticed that last few pics of 70 Cudas on the board had wrong mirrors. So your could have been added/modified since your car was new.  dunno?

I thought it was 69 through to 71  :-\ Seems strange for them to stop making it for that one year?  ???

I'm still G35, hope we find out to see who is right and who was wrong, it's like a bet.  ;D
