My 440-6 has a 3 row stock radiator with a shroud and does fine. Everything is new though

the 26" rad is not nessisary as long as you have at least a high efficiency 2 core or 3 core 22" rad in the car

If you don't have AC, the 22" should be fine.

Mine was a stock 22 inch 2 row for a 383. I took it down to the radiator shop and had a 3 row installed. Total cost was 200 bucks. Works great
