:iagree: Seems like a lot of extra trouble. Unless you're just really into fabricating your own stuff. In that case, more power to ya. :2thumbs: Oh yea, to answer your question, I have no idea what kind of rubber they use. :dunno:

If you have a look at these mounts i made for my Dodge Truck.  I used a bit of tube with rubber shackle rubbers and a crush sleeve inside to make mounts with, i think they were Toyota Tacoma shackle rubbers from memory.  But you could use any kind of brand shackle rubber i would say as long as the sizes measured up right. :2thumbs:

thats a really good idea.  the way they are being built it would have to be flat...about an inch tall and about 2" wide and 3" long...roughly.  thats a great idea though with the shackle rubbers....maybe i could work something out to be able to use those

The front suspension is just a magnum force k member that im adding some tubes to to build motor mounts off of.  here are a couple pictures of the frame and rear suspension that i built for it.

Wow, that's some pretty amazing work.  I'd love to see a restoration thread to keep up with your progress.
