Need help finding a new trunk lock mechanism
« on: June 22, 2008 - 12:19:44 AM »
I broke the bolt on the back of my trunk lock.  Its the broke off after a tool box slamed into it.  I forgot to put the protecter panel on.  Opps.   The key works fine.  I could not find one on YO site or R-T specialties.  Any suggestions???  BTW, Its a 73 cuda.

There is a guy on e-bag who's got tons of NOS sets.  I'll reply with his link when I get home...I may even have one at home.

Same deal here...I've been rigging it untill I get a new one. I ordered one of those off E-bunk.Thomas J. Sestak dude.Said for a '73.Look close....It's not. make sure you get the right one. He's exchanging it for me. I literally just came in from squeezing in there to pop the trunk through the back seat.I could only make it on inhale. :lol2: My rig failed. :bricks1:
