Newb from the Netherlands
« on: June 22, 2008 - 10:55:46 AM »
Hello to you all! My name is Rob Noordman, I'm from Almelo, the Netherlands. Me and my 16 yr. old son Gijs (try to pronounce that one!) own a 72 Challenger, currently in restoration. Our 493 500/500 engine and 727 transmission are ready to drop in, de body will be ready after this summer. The build will last another couple of years due to the amount of parts we will need to purchase.
Our history of US-cars: A 72 Pontiac Catalina conv, a 72 Charger, a 72 strip-Duster, a 71 Dart, a 77 El Camino (sorry for that) and some more.
My son is studying to ba a professional mechanic: Smart boy, isn't he?
I unfortunately never heard of cc.com until yesterday when I was pointed out to it by a friend. On the Moparts.com  my nick is robsuperbee.

Hope to enjoy this forum, looking great! Will need a lot of info and support! I'll try to post some progress-pics. Here's our engine.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!

I've been cruising the site: Lots of usefull stuff, and missed the Just-Suspension-works-kit from torrettobrian by an inch! That one would have kicked the project forward about a year :crying: As Earl Hickey stated: My life sucks!

Thanks for pointing me out to cc.com, Dutch! I talked to Gijs: when you decide to get rid of the ralley-rims, please call!

For now  to you all!
