The guy on a-bodies.com, oldkoot, didn't get screwed in any way.  He actually sold a few of the carbs.  He might have a few more of the carbs left.

Paypal sent a letter to the seller on the 5th.  He has 10 days to respond, so I'll know more by the 15th.

Dear Antonio Garcia,

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover $63.03 USD and this amount has been credited to
you.  Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

Looks like I was first in line to get his money.  The last time I spoke with him when I first opened the case he said he had about $67 dollars in his account.  I just checked my paypal account and the money is already there.  Sorry Hemiken.

I agree that this is Bull$&%#,this is exactly why you pay for using paypal---security in the transaction.I think that if they don't take care of us all on this then people should let them know why they won't be using paypal anymore and I mean you should post everywhere you can on the internet so that they can take it in the pocket$$$$$$ where it will hurt the most. And if anyone can get me the real address of the scammer?please pm me the info and I will have him taken care of,He'll wish he was in an accident.

Man, I feel real bad for you guys that got swindled by this piece of crap!  :swear:  :stomp:  :pullinghair: .  At first I thought this guy was legit but it looks doubtful that he'll come through.

:iagree:  Maybe there should be a minimum # of posts that a person should have before being able to sell stuff here to help avoid this issue.  It won't completely solve the issue but mey help deter any "fly by night" sort of people.  At least they should have some time invested here.  Yes, it may prevent some good sellers from coming on the site but IMO is it worth it for good standing members to be preyed upon by people like this?

Will an IP address lead to an actual physical location?  :clueless:

It's really sad that our sense of trust on the forum has been violated.

An IP address can lead to the general Domain they are using. Can any of the mods pull an IP address from any of his posts?
