itll cost you about 1900$ to get all new parts and thats if you shop around.

from the ads description, it doesnt sound like too bad a deal.



When I swapped to 6pack, my throttle cable stayed the same.    Didnt need a special 6 pack one that the kits include. 
If I hadnt gone to 6pack, id probably have gone to fuel injection.    about same price  as that (satin finish) EFI kit that looks just like a holley dblpumper and you can run off of your existing fuel pump.

the 6 pack isnt too bad to tune.  sure is fun when the pack opens up too.

That is a good price and who wouldn't want a six pack?0although with todays gas prices....... :eek2:

 would I switch , I guess it depends what you want , for looks it is great , for power there are better systems , it could be a step up down or sideways from what you have as I do not know what you have now

Ok Chryco, I'm attaching a couple of pics to help me explain.  I have a PerformerRPM intake and Eddy carb on a 440.  Here is all the info I have:  on the drivers side of theblock I find  4.4.75   4006630-440-8.  The previoius owner provided the following since he was the motor builder; it has a small cam (280/474) and iron heads.  Which heads I don't know.  The car runs great with great torque so I have no real complaints there.  I read one of your old posts on intake types and then found this setuup on ebay and thought about what you said.  Anyway, the 6pack will definately dress up the engine bay for now and give ma a reason to clean it up more.  Hate to open the hood right now to show people because it looks like someones best redneckery.  I don't want to lose performance with the change but I'm not going to the track anytime soon.  Hope this helps and I look forward to your response.  Thanks, Chuck

I put a new set up on my Challenger this winter and I love it, I replaced an 850 Holley with it and I can't say it runs any better but at least as good.

 That price seems very fair, but it might be worth the extra $600 to be all brand new to me. either way it's hard to beat the cool factor of a 440 six pack. except a Hemi of course, but then we're talking major bucks.

I actually thought about buying that set up, but I know firsthand what a PITA they can be to set up if the carbs are worn or modified, so I decided to go for all new parts unless I know the seller or can hear it run.

Good point AMX and FJ5, now I guess I just decide whether I wnt to go the 6pack route or not.  Atlantic Speed has a total package deal (new) for 2k.  That might be the best route if I decide to do it.  Just don't want to lose any performance I now have.  If you didn't notice  :roflsmiley: it's been a while since I've fooled with cars.  Military career, family, and all those things got in the way.  Anyway, living my teenage years now I guess.  Thanks for the help and look forward to more as I go.  Chuck

It's been a few moths since I bought mine , Atlantic speed had the best price on the carbs but if you shop around you can save a few hundred on the rest of it. I doubt very much you'd regret going to the six pack even if you don't pick up any more go power, best $1700 I've spent on stuff I don't need in years.

Check on Monicatti, ebay, summit, mancini for sixpack parts.    I got my carbs from Atlantic, intake from summit, air cleaner and some odds ends from Monicatti, and then a few from other sources.   You can save money that way and get some promax jet plates for the end carbs so you can change jets in them.

but for sure check around.

Wow...an 850 with that 280/474 cam?  I must be woefully under carbed with my combo then and it even has an electric choke.  :eek4:
