Sad news indeed.  He is my Dad's favorite comedian.  I was fortunate enough to take my Dad to one of his shows in Vegas a few years ago.  I can't remember laughing so much.

I was there the night many moons ago when he got arrested for saying the "7 Words you can't say on TV" (although you hear them on TV now!). Funny guy indeed! He's been working in Vegas the last couple years.  WAS, I sould say. Rest easy..........  :angelwings:

I though he was a riot...so off the wall!!! He'll be missed.  :angelwings: I had no idea he was in his 70's. I though he was in his 60's. He was quite the wild one from what's been written. He made a ton of visits on the tonight show. Made me laugh!! :smilielol:

Very shocked to hear this.  :(  The world won't be as funny due to the passing of this unique comic.  :angelwings:

Luckily I got to see him live in Raleigh a few years ago.

I also got to see Mitch Hedberg before he died too. If you've never heard Mitch Hedberg's stuff, it reminds me of the stuff Carlin used to do in the 70s before he got really bitter and angry. Don't get me wrong, I love bitter Carlin, I was just making the comparison.

A great comedian, hilarious social satire. I will miss his comedy.
