I have everything i need for it.....What was it you wanted to know about. :2thumbs:

Well that truck really looks cool. The first question is if there a restored one that you can use as a reference? That really can help seeing how everything went back together. Also, what size engine is in it?

Sorry to dissapoint you old mate but this old panel truck will be getting slammed to the ground with a full custom paint and flame job with 18" Salt Flat wheels, and the engine will be a 360 with a very little towing cam.  This will be my driver and tower.
No resto for this old girl sorry.................................. :swaying:

Hey ken, are u going to go ft6? I know you also like burnt orange. Id be almost tempted to use farmerboys custom mix fk5 with tangerine. His looks soo good. He sure can paint. Is e61 a 383 2bbl?

Getting back to the rare ft6, make sure they mix it right. One time i had the interior tan hrt5 mixed up and they couldnt get it right, actually came out a better more modern color, but went black right after. They couldnt even begin on all the different tan  metal dash parts. This was back in 84.

Mine is hrt5 v yours hst5. I guess my R means leather. Its an se.  My steering column was tan, not black like troys. My rim blow was long gone by 75 when i got it.

I just found the 1984 paint# they mixed. Dupont med tan met. suede  #9772
 Ditzler auto tan poly #2129

Wow JS29U,

Thanks heaps for the paint codes and heads up.    I really do like FK5 Burnt Orange and Farmboys Challenger is to die for but i have fallen in love with the color combo on my M46 and will be doing the outside back to its former glory and i have the paint formula in base coat clear coat, i will be doing the interior back to full H6T5 and painting the column in the Tan color and fitting a Tan 'Cuda rimblow wheel because i like them.   E61 is the 383 big block :2thumbs:

Your interior code must be HRT5 for leather and vinyl interior mine is just H6T5 for bucket seats in vinyl  If it was a HST5 it would of meant it had a bench seat in leather and vinyl. :bananasmi

Thanks for the reassurance everyone :swaying:

Here is a sample of what i want my interior to look similar too.  Not the Black mats though, was thinking more along the lines of the rubber Tan mats. :2thumbs:

I don't think I have ever seen that interior color before, it's uncommon? I don't recall seeing that color at spring fling (I've been about 4x) or anywhere
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
