Hi Guys.

I Try to get my shifter kinkages mountet on my 904 transmissin. But I can not remember how it puts together. What ever i do will it not clear the reverse contact  :pullinghair:

Hope some of you guys have some pictures.

What area are you talking about.............inside the car or under the floor on the gearbox :2thumbs:

Under the floor, from the linkage there gos through the floor and to the shifter arm on the transmission,

This is all I have. You don't have your rod on backwards with the adjustment block to the front,do you?

Thanks for your fast help guys I really appreciate it.

If I set the lower rod as the drawing will i not be possible to set the trasmission in park. The contack is to big "long"

Could be possible at the a wrong contack or shifter arm ?

Maybe you are trying to connect it to the kickdown by mistake :dunno: :2thumbs:

I will post a picture when i get home.

When i push the shifter arm all back to park do the rod hit the reverse light contack and stop it for going to park.

Hi Guys.

I have taken some pictures.

When i belive at I have set the rods correct can i not get the shifter arm back. its hits Reverse contact.

Can you guys tell me are the correct shifter arm i have.

The lever "pinched" on to your transmission valve body is incorrect. it looks like an after market that came with an after market shifter.

If you look at the picture above that I posted,you can see the at the lever is longer where the rod goes into the hole. That is what you need.

Are the shifter lever the same on all 904 Transmissions ?

No,some are held in with a wire clip (like yours) and some are held in by a "snap in" rubber grommet. There are different shapes and lengths also.

If I search for 904 shifter lever for 70-70´ Challenger will I so have fairly chance to get the right one ?
