It's the separator plate that says cheetah, the valvebody itself doesn't say cheetah on it, it just has a number cast into it.
tactrans, perhaps it's old/discontinued? The tranny had to have been built before 95 i'd say as im pretty sure the previous owner owned it since but he didn't have it built. Im going to PM you, think im just going to have it rebuilt, i've been worried about spraying the car because of the unknown nature of this trans anyway so this way I can get it done once and for all.
