I set the mixture screws 1.5 turns out from seated and it seems to run OK. I'll fine-tune it with a vacuum gauage. I also ordered the "yellow" secondary spring (which is supposed to be lighter so the secondaries come in quicker) from Holley. Haven't checked the timing yet, that's also on the list. Where do you guys with 360s set the timing (what setting)? And what idle speed do you use?
I have another question, too...You've probably noticed that I am not an expert at working on cars. I have a basic knowledge and some skills, but I need a lot of help, so I really appreciate all the expertise that is available here.
Anyway, I'm running two breathers off my valve covers and I've noticed a very slight trickle of oil around them. Would I be better off running a PCV valve? If so, it's just a matter of getting a PCV grommet and PCV valve and a section of hose connected to the PCV fitting at the front of the Holley, right? I could then put the oil filler cap on the other side, too, right, or do I need a breather?
Thanks,
