Newbie from Dodge
« on: June 27, 2008 - 04:25:07 PM »
Hi all!

Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself right quick (duh...).  My name is Will, and I work on behalf of Dodge out here in Auburn Hills, MI.  Technically I am a marketer, ya I know boooooo, however, I am here with the sole intent of posting updates and information relevant to your community... So anything MOPAR, Muscle, or Chrysler Corp related.

On the flip side of that, I am also here to listen to what you as a community have to say.  I think it goes without saying that those who live and breathe MOPAR are most vital in determining what's important in moving forward.

It is very nice meet all of you!

Thanks!

Will

How cool!
I hope this is a sign of what the "New" Chrysler is all about.  Detroit needs this kind of thing.
It's nice to see you're here to openly get feedback from your customers, that shows forward thinking and is long overdue.

Hi Will,
Welcome to CC.com. The best "E' body site bar none, not to forget the "A-C" bodies too!! I think you'll find plenty of creative suggestions here in regards to Mopars. Although highly unlikely, I too would like to see the 'Cuda revived. Something more viable I think might be a convertible Challenger SRT-8!!! Now that would be cool!! :2thumbs:

I too would like to welcome you to the forum Will.  I think it is good that Mopar is reaching out to the masses.  I have been a member here for a short time compared to a lot of the guys but I have found that there is a wealth of information on this site and the desire to help others is heartfelt.  I am glad you chose to be a part of the community of cc.c and know you will enjoy your time here.    A question that needs to be asked is...............do you happen to have a shipping schedule of the 08s to the dealerships in NC.  (Rockingham).  I want to have a picture day...................

WELCOME WILL. A very hearty hello from the desert. It makes me so happy to see that Ma MOPAR values us MOPAR breathing enthusiests and isnt just looking for a dollar.

Now, get rid of two of the doors on the Charger and we will be good.   :roflsmiley:

Welcome to the site, Will!  As already mentioned, it's good to see Chrysler, LLC. taking the initiative to establish themselves once again with the use of online MoPar communities, something that it seemed to lack when it was still DaimlerChrysler.  On a side note, it's great to see the reintroduction of the Challenger and more importantly just how similar the lines are to the original E-body one.  The prototype/show car looked amazing in person and the production unit is just as cool. :2thumbs:  It's also great to know that all the aftermarket sheet metal parts have been given the Chrysler stamp of approval, something that wasn't available 5 years ago when I put replacement lower quarters on my '73...Top notch work and it's good to know it is back as an American-owned company striving to re-establish its quality reputation among the enthusiasts.
