My Thank You Letter To Mopar Muscle
« on: June 29, 2008 - 12:12:14 PM »
Here is a copy of the letter I sent to MM.  I cc'd all the members I could find who posted in the threads there were a crap load of you who have there email hidden!!!  That sucked... people like oh lets say TONY MILLER!!!  Just to name one, you get the idea.  Im sorry if I did overlook your email I sent it out to as many as I could find.  But once again thank you all.  You guys are the best group of people I know.

Don

Mopar Muscle Staff,

My name is SFC Donald D. Moore; I just wanted to stop in and thank you and your organization for doing the article on "The Cuda Guy Project".  It was an awesome story you guys wrote and the pics were great, we had a lot of fun taking them.  It means a lot to me that you guys took the time to recognize the efforts of everyone involved at cuda-challenger.com.  As Im sure you know the car is a dream come true and the extensive efforts that it took to make this dream come true are exceptional.  The members of cuda-challenger.com are one of a kind and the culture we have there is second to none we are truly a family there.  Currently I’m in Balad Iraq (FOB Paliwoda) where I have just passed the 9th month of a 15 month deployment. I hope to be home before Christmas of 2008.  I’ve been looking forward to Carlisle 2009 since Carlisle 2007!  I already have my room reserved!  Everyone on the Carlisle staff was super, they really took care of
cuda-challenger.com and me and my family are excited about our next trip to PA in 09 to reunite with family and friends.  Thank you again for taking the time to recognize the efforts of some great people! You guys at Mopar Muscle are awesome.  I'm sure you guys hear this every time you do an article... but this is my favorite Mopar Mag and I had my first subscription when I was 14!  I'm 30 now LOL!!!  If you guys are going to be at Carlisle (I'm sure you will be) please stop by the cuda-challenger.com tent and say hello and tell them The Cuda Guy sent you!

Don "The Cuda Guy" Moore

PS I have attached a few of my favroite pics I have taken of the car for your viewing pleasure.

The Cuda Guy Project is on going!

Don, nice job with the letter man!!  I'm sure they appreciate it whenever they receive positive feedback from their articles and yours has touched more people than most ever do.  I wouldn't be surprised if they comment on your letter in one of the upcoming articles as the MM editors/staff seem very down-to-earth and are just as much of a group of dedicated MoPar enthusiasts as us.

:2thumbs:  Great letter to the magazine, I'm sure that they'll appreciate it.  I like your second picture of your Cuda's hood scoops looking out into the open country.

You are a class act all the way around Don. You did a super job on the letter and like others have said I would not be suprised if they find some room to run it in a future issue. I will always be proud of having a part, however small, in the build. Get home soon so you can cruise it some more!
