    Seems like when there is no contact phone number there is something fishy with the car. Probably a scam, who takes the time to list a car and then forgets to leave a number. Very nice deal if its true.

    I've placed and answered craigslist ads without phone numbers. It keeps the tire kickers that don't have any money but want to talk to you about your car from calling and wasting your time.  The real serious buyers will e-mail me with a detailed message and include their phone number.

    You also get calls from sales scum trying to get you to place an ad in their auto trader type publication.E-mail only when I place an ad and then I`ll give out my phone # to seriuos buyers from now on!

    I never use phone # or email address until i have a solid lead. It is bad enough with the few that do respond to the ad I can just imagine how it would be if they had an easier contact method. I would say on average 75% of the people are usually not even going to come look at it. Then you have the few that waste your time and schedule but never show.

    I would agree that the car is probably sold since the link is down already.

    needed body to be finshed but solid shell. I think he said something to the effect of not original 440 with car. The price was 18,500 for a 71 vert Barracuda.

    Yeah I guess I can see what you guys are talking about. The ones I am talking about on craigslist are the 2005 Mercedes for 6800.

    Looks like he posted on Moparts for 22500 today....may not be the same car, but the ad is frighteningly similar to the one from craigslist....just a higher price.  Probably still a good deal though for a vert!

    saw the same thing on Moparts and asked for pics.  it is in primer up on a dolley with nothing in it.  only see left side in pics but it is in Redding PA
