Had a duh moment...never mind...

Headers seemed to not fit well as to port sizes...but the gasket was cut poorly not the headers...

Replaced by this..I know, I know it ain't no classic...but it doesn't rattle and is wicked fast even with AC on...

If they fit then I would say no.  A lot of times for performance work, the exhaust ports will be opened up to better match the headers.

Its not such a bad thing if they were a little bit bigger, but you certainly don't want a step smaller.  Sound like some pretty junky headers.

Gaskets were poorly cut.  header tubes aren't the best as far as the size and shape of the opening but they aren't as bad as I made out....they'll work.  Gonna cut my own gaskets...

  looks like the headers are for a 273 and the gaskets are for a 360.....     :2cents:

 :iagree: all you need do is order 273 / 318 exhaust gaskets, problem solved. :2thumbs:
