Another Newb from Canada...
« on: June 30, 2008 - 11:34:26 AM »
Hey....yep another Newb from Canada.

I just picked up a 1970 R/T with a 383 in it and couldn't be happier.  I've been looking on these boards for awhile but didn't have a car but now can join in the fun.

Also, if anyone can point in the the direction for good sources for the following, I'd really appreciate it.  Just want to fix everything asap so I can enjoy it for the summer.

-Challenger Badging (emblems etc)
-Exhaust
-Front Seat covers
-Brakes (will probably post some questions on other sections for those as well).

Thanks, and hope I can learn some even more now that I have my own ride.

Beautiful car - welcome to the site.

Exhaust - tti is the best, but pricey.
Front Seat covers - Legendary.  A couple of the vendors here can help you with those.
Brakes - depends on what you need.
Badging - R/T Specialties has badging.  Again, some of the vendors can help.  Laysons Restorations also have badging, but nobody here represents them.

Sweet looking ride!  Welcome to the site.

I know as far as stock brake parts you can just get them at your local auto parts store.
