We just got back from the Internationales Oldtimer Festival at Nurburgring in Germany.  They had all sorts of old racers similar to the International Challenge event at Road America and the Historic Sportscar Racing Mitty Challenge at Road Atlanta.  It is very fortunate that so many historically significant race cars still exist and are brought out for the public.  Many are even raced pretty hard considering the age and value of these cars.

Most of the cars were of pretty limited interest to Muscle car guys, but there were a bunch of Mustangs GT40s and Race Cobras.  I didn't see one
Mopar.  Not even a race Viper.  I though I would share a photo since there are others on the board with varied automotive interests.

Thanks!  Do you have any more pics?  I like all cars and love looking at them at the track.

:iagree:  If it has an engine and moves, I'm interested, no matter who built it.

Agreed!  If you don't we'll ban you!

Just kidding about the banning.

I think I know which turn that is, too.  Nothing wrong with Shelby's - he helped build the Viper, after all!!

I will definitely put more up, but my photos are in the RAW format so I have to first convert them to JPEG and then size them way down so I can post them.  I will get off my butt and do some tonight.
