I'm interested!!  How much a night?   :grinyes:  After some review and checking out the hotel info, I'll need to get approval on this hotel.

Dave, I'll PM you.  I think the price was $105 or $110 a night. Free continental breakfast. Pool.

I don't think your girlfriend would like it though if you compare it to the place you stayed in last year. You want to impress her, not show her what a cheapskate you are.

white satin mopar cancelled his rooms by us, he was staying at the Knights inn on 4320 groves road 614-864-0600

If I don't get my truck running, then we will have an empty room there as well.

Ok, I'm going to be crazy and am thinking of coming to this now from South Carolina in my 70 Chally.
I havent booked a motel or anything yet and I have a business dinner with my boss around here on friday night so I have to either set off late from here on Friday or go early on Saturday.
I'm worried because my car knocks at low speed and low load under hard acceleration on 93 octane (I usually use leaded racing gas) and because I've ordered a new Becool fabricated radiator but it hasnt come yet.
In the past the car ran to about 260 deg F. I've got a coolant wetter as an interim measure and it reachs about 230 deg F under load at around 60 mph now.
It's running a 3.91 rear end with torque flight- anyone think thats too busy for long distances - will it strain the engine unneccessarily?
But- I REALLY want to go and hang with the Mopar lot-even though its 500 miles odd.
PS: please let me know if any rooms become available.
Cheers

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but if you have heating problems and a 3:91 rear. I would NEVER attempt such a trip. I won't be making it this year, but even with 3:23's I would be pushing around 3000 RPM to get there(65-70MPH).

Ok, thanks for your input, you're starting to put me off now   :(
Do you know what kind of revs I'd be turning over, I dont have a rev counter, and I think I have stock wheels, they're 14 inch rallye wheels and the tyres say G60-14s.

Sorry Guys -

It looks like I'll be cancelling my plans to stop by this year.  I wanted to come but $40 to walk around for a few hours just isn't worth it, IMO.  I used the money to get my wife an extra birthday gift - it'll be more worth it in the long run.

Next year I'm pretty confident I'll be living out this way permanently, which means that not only will I be able to attend the show for it's full duration, but I'll be able to have the 'Cuda (or Viper?!  :scared:) there as well.

So I hope you all have a great time - roast some tires for me.  Oh and order a Long Island Iced Tea (or four) for me too.  :)
